Lodges and Camping Torres
Refugio Torres (see photo gallery) is the starting point of many hiking excursions to places like the base of the Towers (Base de las Torres), the "Cuernos", the W circuit, the long O circuit, Camping Serón and more. The lodge is a meeting point of globetrotters from different corners of the world and local people. Among other services, here you will have the opportunity to rent horses.
This lodge is divided in to constructions and a camping, described below.
Lodge Torre Central
It is the main construction and the newest. It has 60 beds and a restaurant, bar and a lounge room. The price for a bed is slightly higher than the other lodges, as it offers better comfort and infrastructure.Lodge Torre Norte
It is the oldest building, situated only a few steps from the Refugio Torre Central. It has 62 beds, a bar and a lounge room. Food is served at the Refugio Torre Central.Camping Torres
This camping site is in the same area of the refugios previously described above. It has toilets, hot showers, fire wood and it has plenty of space. Tents and sleeping bags are available for rental.

Please keep in mind
- Beds with sheets are available only in lodges Torre Norte y Torre Central
- Laundry is not available in any of the lodges or campings..
- Internet and cell phone connections are not available in the park.
- GPS devices do work in all of Torres del Paine national park.
- Entrance to the park requires payment of a fee.

Since Chilean taxes help maintain the park's infrastructure, entrance fee is lower for Chilean visitors.
Conditions and General Policies
Prepayment
- For groups larger than 8 passengers, full payment must be done at least 30 days before arrival.
- For individual passengers or groups with fewers than 8 persons, full payment must be done at least 15 days before arrival.
Groups
- For groups larger than 15 people, staying in a lodge with full board, an extra passenger is allowed free of charge.
- For groups larger than 15 people, staying in a camping with full board, an extra passenger is allowed to stay in the camping free of charge. Please note that meals for this passenger are not included.
Value Added Tax (19%)
- Payment of the VAT for lodging is not required of foreign passengers staying in a lodge, if three conditions are met: must show their passport, must show their immigration card, and must pay in dollars.
- Please note that VAT is mandatory for all services other than lodging.
