- GPS devices do work in all of Torres del Paine national park.

Since Chilean taxes help maintain the park's infrastructure, entrance fee is lower for Chilean visitors.
General Conditions and Policies
Reservation
- Send email to reservas@fantas
ticosur.com - To make your reservation effective you must complete the forms sent by our executives.
Name and Nationality, Arrival and departure dates, Name of the Lodge(s) you will be staying ins, Services requested, Payment method(Credit Card, Bank deposit, Cash, other), amount authorized to charge your credit card.
- Reservations will be confirmed by e-mail, using a name of a passenger or group name with a reservation code which must be submitted at the time of check in.
- Reservations cannot be confirmed by telephone. No telephone reservations will be confirmed only be informed about current availability.
- Unsolicited services on the reservation, were charged directly in the lodges.
Cancellations, changes and no show
- For cancellations or changes in the number of passengers, you must send e-mail 16 days before the date of check in.
- Fantástico Sur will send e-mail confirmation of cancellation or modification.
- Cancellations out of date will be charged 100% of reservation.
- Passengers requesting date changes out of date, will be charged a fee of $ 10,000 Chilean Pesos per passenger.
The change will be subject to availability of the lodges. - No refunds for no show passengers. Charge will be 100% of reservation.
Payments
- Reservation must be paid in full 15 days before arrival date.
- If there is a over demand for beds in any date, we will request
non-refundable payment of 50% of the total reservation which must be submitted within 5 working days.
Otherwise the reservation could be Canceled, with a notification. - Fantástico Sur may cancel unpaid reservations.
- Payment receipts must be sent to: reservas@fantas
ticosur.com
indicating guest names and reservation code.
Fantástico Sur, send a notification when the information arrive. - Reservations requested within 15 days before the arrival of the passenger should be
paid within 48 hours of confirmation. - No refunds allowed if not covered by these policies.
Freighter Rental:
- To make the transfer from Serón to Dickson you need to submit authorization to the sector dealer with a information letter to Conaf.
- The transfer from Torres to Dickson is charged as a double leg.
- Maximum weight 60 kilos per transport (132 lbs), cargo must be in a reasonable package to order by weight and volume.
Free of charge
- Camping: for groups of 16 passengers, 1 person is free of charge in the camping site, meals are not included.
- Lodges: for groups of 16 passengers, 1 person is free of charge in the lodge (bed without sheets), meals are not included.
Kids
- Camping: Children's up to age 10 are free of charge in the camping site, meals are not included.
- Lodges: Children's up to age 5 are free of charge, sharing bed with parents, meals are not included.
Payment methods
Fantástico Sur takes the following payment methods.
- Main credit cards, sending us card number and expiration date.
- Deposits and transfers in Chilean pesos.
- Deposits and transfers in US dollars.
Value Added Tax (19%)
- Payment of the VAT for lodging is not required of foreign passengers staying in a lodge, if three conditions are met: must show their passport, must show their immigration card, and must pay in dollars.
- Passengers staying in camping are not affected.
- At the time of check in, foreign passengers must present their passport and immigration card, otherwise the billing will be in Chilean pesos.
