Refugio Los Cuernos in Torres del Paine, Chilean Patagonia.
At the shore of Lake Nordenskjöld, nestled in a Coihue Forest, you can find Refugio Cuernos (see photo gallery). Renowned for its magical settings, this lodge is at the foothills of the "Cuernos" mountain, halfway from the “Torres” mountain lodge to the French valley.
It is located between the Refugio Torre central (about 4 hours) and the famous Valle del Frances (about 2 hours). It is the best place for trekkers in the W circuit in any direction to spend a night.

Apart from the Lodge, there are 8 cozy cabins for 2 persons each and a toilet and hot shower exclusively for people who are staying at the cabins. This is the camping site close to the Lodge. Toilets and hot showers inside the Refugio are available for campers. Tents and sleeping bags are available for rent.

FROM REFUGIO & CAMPING LOS CUERNOS.
1. Trekking Los Cuernos / Valle Francés / Pehoé (12 hrs).
We recommend to begin at 9.00 AM. The first 2 hours are with some up and downs and views to Nordenskjöld Lake. The ascent through French Valley begins when you reach “Campamento el Italiano” sector until the Británico Lookout where you will be able to appreciate some of the mountains that are part of the Paine Massif. The return is the same way back to el italiano and then to Pehoé sector.

2. Valle Bader
On the eastern side of the river Bader you can climb to the valley of the same name located between Cerro Almirante Nieto and the Horns. There you can see spectacular views of the various lakes of the park.
Difficulty Level: High, very steep and slightly marked trail.
